Well after you have made an awesome homemade gift, you do not want to forget to wrap it!! Here are a few alternatives to wrapping with regular old wrapping paper. I dug into my scrapbook stash for these...
For this first one I actually made wrapping paper out of photos. I cut several photos, glued them to a 11x17 sheet of paper and made a clolr copy of the sheet. The end result is wrapping paper with your photos on it. Wrap it around an inexpensive paper mache box along with ribbon and pattern paper and you have a great gift box that can be used forever!!
This one is another paper mache box wrapped in pattern paper. I use decoupage to adhere it to the box. I used 5 different ribbons for this wrapping, and wove it to create a unique look.
This final one was super simple. I used a plain paint can from the hardware store, placed a few ornaments on the handle and cut out pattern paper to put on the front.
