Homemade Christmas Gifts

It is easy to create homemade gifts for little cost. Of course they will still have a TON of meaning. Homemade ornaments are a great gift for anyone on your list. For this ornament I simply purchased a glass ornament from Michael's, added a photo, filled it with clear buttons. Placed gems and glitter to the outside, and the ornament is complete

This second ornament was a little more difficult. but is still very inexpensive. I simply drew a butterfly template onto thin cardboard, traced that template onto a pattern paper and glued the pattern paper to the cardboard. I folded the template slightly in the middle to make the butterfly appear to be flying, and hid the ribbon on the back so that when it hangs on the tree that ribbon will not be visible. For a finishing touch I again added gems and glitter.

For this final ornament I used a Acrylic Stamp Block, which can be purchsed at any scrapbook store in many different sizes. I adheared a photo to the back, added some rub-ons and gems. I used a hot glue gun to adhere the ribbon along the sides of the block.
